PRESENTACION
“3.600 m. de Arquitectura Bol. 2010- XI Bienal”
Presentación:
Es una iniciativa del Colegio Departamental de Arquitectos de La Paz y La Facultad de Arquitectura, Artes, Diseño y Urbanismo de la Universidad Mayor de San Andrés,
La oportunidad será propicia también para exponer y reconocer la investigación teórica desarrollada por estudios de arquitecto(as) y profesionales del área.
Objetivo:
Es propósito de“3.600 m. de Arquitectura Bol. 2010- XI Bienal” reconocer la producción intelectual y las obras de mayor trascendencia realizadas por los arquitecto(as) y estudiantes de arquitectura bolivianos. Abrir el diálogo y la discusión with prominent national and international scope of architecture and urbanism, and promote the collective intellectual output and / or individual architects (as) and architecture students nationally and internationally. Theme
general: "Global Sustainable Architecture."
The theme of the Biennale this year has to do with the Global Sustainable Architecture, which will create the scenario for the analysis, discuss and propose alternative solutions to problems: The urban poor living conditions, the coverage deficit public services, lack of traffic solutions and urban transport, social housing situation, insecurity, environmental degradation, among other issues that are of interest to the whole society.
is a matter of current interest and concern of society as a whole, the process of degradation and disturbance of the environment resulting from human action, tension and generate changes in society are also part of a global phenomenon to be subject of analysis of Architects (as).
"Global Sustainable Architecture" aims to be the scenario in which the architects (as) to assume the role of interlocutors between an expanding society and environment that houses it in increasingly adverse conditions. Thematic
suggested:
1. Social housing. Institutional and academic contributions generated in the process of identifying, planning, selection, prioritization and implementation of social housing programs.
2. City and sustainability. Chaotic processes of urban growth, new settlements, access to basic services, the environmental impact, are some outstanding issues on the national agenda
3. Landscaping and Public Space. The actions taken by management in urban public spaces and the impact achieved for the benefit of the community in recreation management, education, changing habits and behavior and civic culture.
4. Tangible and intangible heritage. The relationship between history, architecture and heritage are part of a discussion that has not yet finished: How to retrieve the memory, keeping the identity and project the future of architecture?
5. Land Management. Process re - organization of the territory in the search for a rational use of natural resources in the policy framework to guide an appropriate structure and land occupation.
6. Ecology and Environment. Participation of architecture and its impact on what is built from an ecological perspective, we will re - define the preservation of the environment and the harmonious integration of nature, man and society.
7. Theoretical Research. The contribution of research and study from different visions of sustainable architecture, which will help to strengthen and enrich our architecture and value our culture.

"3,600 m. Bull 2010 XI Architecture Biennale will be held in the city of La Paz (Bolivia) from 25 to 30 October 2010, at the Museum San Francisco - La Paz. Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz esq. Sagárnaga beside the Church of San Francisco
Eligibility:
are eligible projects, works and / or investigations that meet the following conditions:
